Odisha:Chief Minister dedicated the Solar Jalanidhi scheme to farmers of the state

Bhubaneswr:30/10/18:Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik dedicated the Solar  Jalanidhi   scheme to farmers of the state. Under the initiative, 5,000 solar pumps will enable irrigation 2500 acres of arable land. While boosting crop yield & farmers’ income, it will significantly bring down farming costs.

The programme will be rolled out in unserved and under-served areas in the first phase and soon in rest of the state and will be availed to famers with a rebate of up to 90%.
