Secunderabad-Howrah Falaknuma Express derailed near Kapilas Road

Cuttack: 4/10/18:Panic gripped passengers of Secunderabad-Howrah Falaknuma Express as the train reportedly derailed near Kapilas Road railway station in Odisha’s Cuttack district today.

The seating-cum-luggage rake (SLR) of the train derailed and got crawled for around 500 metres, reports said.

“The derailment was minor in nature and all the passengers are safe. The passengers who were sitting near the affected bogie have been shifted to other bogies. The derailed bogie was detached from the train after which it resumed its journey towards Howrah,” said Nirakar Das, PRO, ECoR.

No casualty or major damage to the train has been reported.
