Prime Minister Narendra Modi scheduled to visit Odisha on September 22:Dharmendra Pradhan

Bhubaneswar:16/9/18: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is scheduled to visit Odisha on September 22, will hold two public meetings, informed Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said on Sunday.

Mr.Pradhan  Requested the State Govt. to provide clearance for the proposed Mega Rural Piped Drinking Water Supply Project to be undertaken by ONGC at Mahima Gadi, Joranda. The project will ensure permanent water supply to villages in and around Mahima Gadi.

Pradhan said Modi will unveil several development projects in Odisha during his visit to the state on September 22.

“He will dedicate the newly constructed Jharsuguda airport to the nation besides laying the foundation stone for the revival of Talcher Fertilizer Plant,” said Pradhan.

On the occasion, the Prime Minister will address two public meetings-one at Talcher and another at Jharsuguda.

“Hon. PM will also dedicate a new railway line of the Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd (MCL) between Jharsuguda and Sardega in Sundargarh district and two new coal mines in Sundargarh district. It will be a historic day in the re-emergence of economic development in Odisha,”  Pradhan  said
