All schools in the State would remain closed on Monday

Bhubaneswar:9/9/18:The School and Mass Education Department on Saturday announced that all schools in the State would remain closed on Monday in view of the Bharat Bandh call given by the Congress over the skyrocketing fuel prices.

School and Mass Education Secretary Pradipta Mohapatra announced that the step has been taken as a precautionary measure.

The Congress is observing a nationwide bandh on September 10 protesting rise in fuel prices. The Odisha unit of the party has urged all supporters and the people in general for support to make the bandh successful as a mark of protest against the unabated rise in the prices of petrol, diesel and cooking gas under the Modi-led NDA Government.
