Surat:2/9/18: Inagurating Odisha Parva in Surat   Union Minister   Dhramendra Pradhan   said  Both Odisha & Gujarat are known for it’s unique culture, traditions and colorful celebrations. Lord Krishna is one of threads that binds the two states together. While Dwarka is the abode of Lord Krishna, Puri is home to Lord Jagannath, also a Vishnu-avatar akin to Lord Krishna.Prime Minister Naraendra Modi   has recognised the rich contribution of Odias in the transformation of Gujarat’s economic landscape. It’s indeed proud to know that Odias migrating from the state are contributing significantly in the development of their second home Gujarat.Several people from odisha has graced this occasion.Large number of odia people from Surat had enjoyed the cultural event.Gujurat Chief minister Vijya Rupani also graced the event.
