Bhubaneswar:2/9/18 : The Odisha government on Saturday announced financial incentives for faculty members of two medical colleges and hospital in the state.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has approved the financial incentives for faculty members of Srirama Chandra Bhanja (SCB) Medical College and Hospital and Maharaja Krishna Chandra Gajapati (MKCG) Medical College and Hospital.

Professors, associate professors and assistant professors of these medical colleges and hospital will get Rs 20,000 financial incentive per month apart from their monthly salary.

In February this year, the state government had implemented financial incentives for faculty members of Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR) at Burla in Sambalpur district.
