During the discussion of Ama Mukhyamantri Ama Katha programme, Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik stressed on keeping a clean surrounding and maintaining personal hygiene. Underling the importance of healthy way of living, he emphasised on its positive impact towards economic growth and over all development of the country.

He urged all to give importance to sanitation, utilise toilets and also encourage others to do the same. Rooting on the principles of Mahatma Gandhi, CM Shri Patnaik exclaimed to work towards a Swacha Grama, Sustha Grama. Giving a fillip to the cause, he declared to award the best village, block and Gram Panchayats for their exemplary contribution towards a clean environment.
