Children and women of all age groups from across the State tie Rakhi to Naveen Patnaik

Bhubaneswar:26/8/18: Naveen Nivas in Bhubaneswar is usually gripped in a political fervour. However, on Sunday Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s residence was observed a celebratory mood.

Children and women of all age groups from across the State thronged the Odisha CM’s home to tie the thread of love – Rakhi.

The show started today morning with little girls queueing up from the gate to the verandah waiting for their turn to tie Rakhi to Naveen.

The Chief Minister was equally happy and enthusiastic with many Rakhis on his arm. He reciprocated the love of children and wished them a bright, successful and healthy future.

“I wish all the people of Odisha a very happy and prosperous festival of Rakhi,” the Chief Minister said.

A 12-year-old girl from Bhubaneswar, overwhelmed after tying Rakhi to the CM said, “it was a dream come true to meet our Chief Minister. He was very happy after I tied Rakhi and blessed me.”
