Maoist leader Sabyasachi Panda’s wife Mili Panda joined Congress

Bhubaneswar:20/8/18: Maoist leader Sabyasachi Panda’s wife Subhashree (Mili) Panda and Nilagiri queen Manoja Manjari Devi joined Congress on Monday.

The duo joined the grand old party in the presence of Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee president Niranjan Patnaik, party state in-charge Jitendra Singh at Congress Bhawan here.

Notably, Mili had unsuccessfully contested the Assembly elections from Ranpur in 2014 on Aama Odisha Party ticket.

Mili’s husband Sabyasachi is behind the bars for his alleged involvement in Maoist activities.
