Odisha Congress will announce a list of few candidates for the 2019 elections in next 15 days

Bhubaneswar:20/8/18; Odisha Congress will announce a list of few candidates for the 2019 elections in next 15 days, informed party’s State Incharge Jitendra Singh here today.

The Pradesh Election Committee will decide the criteria to select the candidates at a meeting scheduled tomorrow, he told reporters after Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) meeting in Bhubaneswar on Sunday.

All the leaders and workers of the party will have to connect with their respective booths. The performance of the newly formed PCC team will also be reviewed every month, Singh said.

Earlier in the day, Odisha PCC team at the meeting chalked out the plans to strengthen the party in the grassroot level as directed by the AICC President Rahul Gandhi. The members also discussed the strategies for the elections next year.
