Union Petroleum Minister took a special preparatory meeting on organising SC-ST Conclave -2018

Bhubaneswar:14/8/18: Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Tuesday took a special preparatory meeting on organising SC-ST Conclave -2018 at Bhubaneswar on August 30.

The meeting was attended by representatives from NTPC, NALCO, NSIC, MCL, Paradeep Port Trust, SBI and various other CPSEs and Banks.

Minister said that all the stakeholders must play their role for the success of the SC-ST Conclave.

He expressed that all like CPSEs and Banks must effectively engage in confidence building of the SC-ST populace which will facilitate in improving the involvement of members from SC-ST community in the various development programmes of Govt of India.

The Minister urged them to give mass publicity of the SC-ST Conclave through posters and hoardings at different strategic outlets/ windows in their organizations.

The Minister also desired that each organization must also engage with the SC-ST members of their staff informing them of the Central Government initiative for the members SC-ST community.

The Minister called upon the CPSEs and Banks to exhibit the products and services procured by them and also make a presentation of their procurement procedure, by putting up stalls in the exhibition during the Conclave.
