The First Show of Movie on Divyang Children –‘Sapana Tie – A Dream’ at NALCO

Bhubaneswar, 14.08.2018:“As a responsible corporate citizen, Navratna NALCO has always made efforts towards imparting positive changes in the lives of the under- privileged sections of the society. The company has been empathetic towards their worries and woes. Especially, NALCO would be keen to be associated with any programme specially dedicated towards the benefit of the Divyangs,” said Dr. Tapan Kumar Chand, CMD, NALCO. He was addressing during the launch of the First Show of a movie on Divyangs, with Divyang actors – ‘Sapana Tie – A Dream’ at the NALCO Bhawan Auditorium here today. It may be mentioned that this movie is the first of its kind, produced with differently-abled children as lead actors.

The movie has been produced and directed by Smt. Milan Dash, under the banner of Ichha Ram Foundation. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Chand appreciated the noble effort of Smt. Dash and Ichha Ram Foundation for coming up with such a beautiful creation on the silver screen, which showcases the real problems faced by such specially- abled children and gives a ray of hope for them to lead a better life. He further said that these specially-abled children are the precious gift of God and it is the moral duty of every right thinking person to love, nurture and help them. They are a part of the society and they are to be treated as a part of society.

Dr. Chand felicitated Smt. Milan Dash and the Divyang children on the occasion. Among others, all the Directors, CVO and senior officials of the company were present during this special screening.
