The 22nd anniversary day of Adani Foundation was observed

Dharma:11/8/18: The 22nd anniversary day of Adani Foundation was observed today amid fanfare with active participation of stakeholders of the port.

On this occasion school students of periphery high school, community leaders, PRI members took part in multiple programmes which added more fervour to the celebration.

Members of local youth club, leaders, villagers of Karanjamala Panchayat planted medicinal sapling at Munipada village area.  Students of J N high school were imparted training on safety awareness based on road safety, domestic safety etc. by experts from Dhamra Port.

Simultaneously medicinal plants were planted by students of Vivekananda High School of Kaithakhola Panchayat. A local concrete road at Bakchati was inaugurated by local PRI members. A drawing competition was conducted among the students on ‘Dhamra Bandar, Mo Bandar’ concept at Doshinga school premises. Awareness programme on post monsoon diseases and breast feeding was organised and executed by Gangamata, Matrushaki SHG group.

Dhamra Port Chief Executive Officer Subrat Tripathy and senior officers of the Port took part in a programme organised by ‘Sangini’ at community hall of Port premises. They discussed about problems and their solutions with all age groups of people of the society. In his address CEO delivered a valuable speech for the ‘Sangini’s engaged in Suposhan programme and also spoke about strengthening relationship between the port and the local people.
