Monsoon session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly will commence from September 4

Bhubaneswar:8/8/18; The monsoon session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly will commence from September 4, a gazette notification in this regard was issued by the parliamentary affairs department on Wednesday.

“In exercise to the powers conferred on me by Clause (1) of Article 174 of the Constitution of India, I hereby summon the 13th Session of the 15thOdisha Legislative Assembly to meet at 11.00 am on September 4, 2018 in the Assembly Building at Bhubaneswar,” Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal said in a statement.

The monsoon session will have a total of 11 settings and it will continue till September 20.

Here is the provisional calendar of sittings of the state assembly

September 4 (Tuesday):  (i) Official Business

(ii) Presentation of first supplementary statement of expenditure for the year 2018-19

September 5 (Wednesday):  Official Business

September 6 (Thursday):  Official Business

September 7 (Friday):  Private Members’ Business (Bills and Resolutions)

September 8, 9 (Saturday, Sunday): No meeting days

September 10 (Monday): Demands for Grants- First Supplement

Statement of Expenditure for the year, 2018-2019

September 11 (Tuesday): Demands for Grants- First Supplementary

Statement of Expenditure for the year. 20I8-2019

September 12 (Wednesday): Demands for Grants- First Supplementary
