KEI Industries target of Rs 200 crore business in the retail sector in Odisha by 2020-21

Bhubaneswar: 4/8/18:The country’s one of the leading wire and cable manufacturer KEI Industries on Saturday announced the celebration of its ‘Golden Jubilee Year’ in Bhubaneswar by expanding its direct – indirect dealers network in the state of Odisha.

On the occasion, Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of the company Anil Gupta said the company has set a target of Rs 200 crore business in the retail sector in Odisha by 2020-21.

“The journey of the last 50 years has been full of learnings and achievements for KEI. Our consistent performance and growth have been an outcome of hard work, team spirit, planning and an honest approach to satisfy customers,” said Gupta.

“Odisha market is of high potential and as a growing company, we desire to spread our business in the state. Our products are durable and of highest standard so, is becoming the first choice for the customers in every part of the country and very soon will witness the same in Odisha,” he added.

At the end of the FY 2017-18, KEI Industries has done a business of Rs 60 crore in terms of retail business in Odisha.

At present, KEI Industries has approximately 52 direct dealers in Odisha, present in around 24 districts and 250 retail counters in the state.

In the tenure of around 4 years from 2013 to 2017, KEI has successfully earned approvals from major state, Central Government and others (engaged in project in state of Odisha) like- OPTCL, OPGC, BDA, CPWD, OSPHW, PWD(R&B), PGCIL, NTPC, IOCL, Paradip Port Trust, Paradeep Phosphate Limited, TATA Kalinga Nagar, TATA Gopalpur, JSPL, NALCO, BRPL, GMR, IFFCO power etc.
