Glowing tribute to Utkalmani Gopabandhu Das on the great leader’s 90th death anniversary

Cuttack:13/7/18; Distinguished guests today paid glowing tribute to Utkalmani Gopabandhu Das on the great leader’s 90th death anniversary in a function at Cuttack today.

Among others who graced the death anniversary function were Deepak Malviya president of Lok Seva Mandal and chairman Samaja managing committee, secretary and publisher Niranjan Rath, Editor the Samaja Bamapada Tripathy, lifetime member Lok Sevak Mandal, Pravash Acharya and Rajya Sabha member, Achyut Samant, poet Archana Nayak.

Utkalmani was a shinning symbol of Odia identity and he dedicated his life for the downtrodden while devoting his entire life to the cause of Odia people. He has carved out a permanent niche in Orissa’s history because of his crusade against untouchability, widow remarriage, campaign for literacy besides compassion for poor and destitute, speakers said while addressing functions in various parts of the state.
