Orphan girl has finally got the warmth of parental love and care with an US couple

Bhadrak:6/7/18; A six-year-old orphan girl has finally got the warmth of parental love and care with an US couple adopting the tiny tot in Odisha’s Bhadrak district.

The little girl- Aparajita- was visibly elated to find her adopted parents. The US couple Mathey James Spoda (29) and Meridwith Caye Spoda legally adopted the child. In a simple but austere function at the short stay home for destitute children, the child was handed over to the couple, said Bhadrak Collector, Gyana Das.

The child had been rescued in distressed condition from new bus stand area of Bhadrak town on February 18, 2012. Later she had been rehabilitated in a government-run short stay home under the stewardship of child welfare committee. We all are happy as Aparajit has got a loving and caring family. The adopted was carried strictly in accordance with Central Adoption Resource Authority (CARA)’s legal sanction, he added.
