Eight servitors were injured in acid attack in Akhandalamani Temple

Bhadrak:21/6/18; Eight servitors were injured in acid attack after a class erupted last night between two groups of Akhandalamani Temple in Bhadrak district.

The injured servitors are undergoing treatment at Bhadrak district headquarters hospital. Condition of two of them is stated to be critical.

According to reports, a dispute ensued between the two groups yesterday morning over performing puja for some devotees. It took an ugly turn in the evening and a group threw acid on the servitors of another group.

The Dhusuri police have detained two servitors for questioning in this connection.
