Odisha continued to sizzle under grueling Heat

Bhubaneswar:18/6/18; Odisha continued to sizzle under grueling heat with the temperature soaring above 40 degree Celsius in several places as monsoon weakened after it hit the state ten days ago.

The streets wear deserted look- shops remaining closed- little human activity on the streets- People preferring the safety of homes.

It seems the entire state is under the siege with the clamping of an undeclared curfew.

With sizzling summer reaching its peak, the rising mercury has made life miserable for people all across 30 districts of the state, giving one the deceptive look of daytime curfew-like situation.

The IMD office warned that heat wave conditions would prevail in several districts of the state in the next 48 hours.
