Naveen Patnaik urged collective action for protecting the environment against rampant usage of plastic

Bhubaneswar:6/6/18;At State-level observation of    world  environment Day  Chief Minister ShriNaveen Patnaik urged collective action for protecting the environment against rampant usage of plastic. He encouraged adoption of eco-friendly materials and recyclable/bio-degradable plastic to BeatPlasticPollution.

Laying emphasis on awareness, he praised Centre for Environmental Studies for their public awareness campaign that involved local communities. He congratulated 161 Prakruti Mitra and 169 Prakruti Bandhu awardees on their outstanding contribution towards environment protection and winners of State-level Eco-model exhibition.
