Odisha Chief Minister announced an additional reward of ₹10 lakh for Odisha Police personnel

Bhubaneswar:19/5/18;Praising the recent success of Odisha Police Organisation and Special Operations Group in Balangir and Kandhamal against Left Wing extremism, Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik announced an additional reward of ₹10 lakh for Odisha Police personnel in the two districts. Through relentless efforts and display of courage, the police has been successful in curbing Left Wing extremism, managing law & order and ensuring peace in the region.

He, however, emphasized on peaceful engagement for resolution of issues and called upon Maoists to give up arms and join the mainstream.
