Commissionertae Police busted an illegal edible oil godown at Cuttack

Cuttack: 30/4/18:The Commissionertae Police on Monday busted an illegal edible oil godown at Nuasahi in Khannagar area of Cuttack where spurious oil-filled containers were kept under prestigious brands.

Acting on a tip-off, police raided the godown on charges of adulteration and seized over 300 oil-filled containers and other items seized Odisha.

Sources said the adulterated edible oil was sold to retailers on the pretext that they were authorized supplier of the product.

Police now started a thorough investigation into the incident.
