CM Naveen Patnaik releases art catalogue ‘The Tallman’

Bhubaneswar;24/4/18:Catalogue of ‘Tallman’, the 15-day exhibition of paintings, sculptures and installations on legendary leader Biju Patnaik, was released by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at the Secretariat conference hall in Bhubaneswar on Saturday.

On the occasion, eminent sculptor Rabinarayan Rath presented a painting of Biju Patnaik to Naveen.

The catalogue consists of 53 works of eminent young artistes who participated in the exhibition which kicked off on April 1 at Suvadra Art Gallery. The art expo concluded on April 15.

Works of renowned artists of Odisha like Rath, Laxmidhar Rana, Gajendra Padhi, Sudhansu Sutar, Manas Ranjan Jena, Asish Pandey, Binodini Behera, Pramod Nayak, Shyam Sundar Achari, Sureswar Dhal, Jagannath Mahapatra, Swarnalata Satpathy, Dasha Murmu and Jitendra Bhanja have found place in the catalogue.

Among others, Tourism and Cilture Minister Ashok Chandra Panda, MP Prasanna Patsani, MLA Priyadarshi Mishra, Chairman of Biju Patnaik Birth Centenary Committee Ved Prakash Agarwal, chairman of Suvadra Art Gallery Surya Rath and director Ashok Nayak were present.
