Hundreds of students of different colleges joined the agitating teachers on Monday

Bhubaneswar:9/4/18: Hundreds of students of different colleges joined the agitating teachers on Monday, who are seeking fulfilment of their six-point charter of demands.

The teachers are on an indefinite strike under the aegis of All Odisha School Teachers and Employees’ United Forum in front of 56 evaluation centres across Odisha since April 4.

The students staged dharna in front of different evaluation centres in Bhubaneswar and Balasore extending solidarity to the striking teachers.

On Saturday, Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) chairman Amarendra Patnaik had warned the teachers of criminal proceedings against them, if they fail to join Plus II answer sheet evaluation duty from the next day.
