Biju Yuva Janata Dal and Biju Chhatra Janata Dal staged peaceful demonstrations in front of petrol pumps

Bhubaneswar:7/4/18; Hundreds of Biju Yuva Janata Dal (BYJD) and Biju Chhatra Janata Dal (BCJD) activists staged peaceful demonstrations in front of petrol pumps across Odisha demanding immediate rollback of petrol and diesel price hike on Saturday.

In a bid to make people aware of the steep hike in the petrol and diesel prices the BYJD and BCJD activists distributed leaflets to public. Besides, they also talked to them in a bid to expose the Centre’s failure to reduce the oil price.

The ruling BJD alleged that the skyrocketed fuel prices has adversely affected the common people. They also threatened to intensify their stir until the fuel prices are reduced.

Their demonstration will continue till 12 AM.
