Odisha Chief Minister lauded Police Organisation for its role in maintaining peace and harmony

Bhubaneswar:16/3/18;At 60th Senior Police Officers Convention, Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik lauded Odisha Police Organisation for its role in maintaining peace and harmony in the state. Highlights from his address at the event:

• Odisha is one of the fastest growing economies in the country with Bhubaneswar being ranked 20th among global Smart Cities
• State has outperformed on various sectors like food security, framers’ income, disaster mitigation and poverty alleviation
• Police has a key role to play in securing the environment of growth and progress in the state.

Chief Minister Shri Patnaik stressed people-friendly approach of the police with focus on efficient crime control & maintaining law and order.
