Bhubaneswar:14/3/18; Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday encouraged ex-students of Government schools to participate actively in the ‘Mo School’ programme and make the initiative a grand success.
Speaking on the occasion, Naveen said, “The former students should contribute generously for the development of their alma mater”.
While a corpus fund of Rs 100 crore has already been announced for the ‘Mo School’ project, the CM today said that the State Government will double the contribution of the ex-students made to the fund.
Naveen also interacted with the students, their guardians, teachers and former students of two Government schools in Nabarangpur and Ganjam today. He mentioned that the schools will have to submit a proposal for the development of the institution, following which the money from the corpus fund will be sanctioned.
