Annual Plus-II examinations began Today

Bhubaneswar:6/3/18; The annual Plus-II examinations began today with over three lakh students appearing the exam conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) which would continue till March 29. The examination began at 10 AM.

According to sources, a total of 3,65,826 students are appearing the exam at 1,104 centres. While examinations of Science and Commerce streams commenced today, students of Arts stream will appear the exam tomorrow.

After incidents of Matric question papers going viral, CHSE authorities keeping a close watch to check malpractice during the exam. Besides CCTVs, a three tier-security has been put in place for the same.

Meanwhile, the state government has banned entry of smartphones and other electronic gadgets into the examination centres. Except the centre superintendent, no invigilators
