Odisha Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister approved various key proposals

Bhubaneswar:23/2/18;Odisha Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik approved various key proposals with focus on development activities.

a) Two projects worth ₹360.60 crore for safe drinking water supply to flouride affected areas of Cuttack district & salinity affected villages of Jagatsinghpur. 4.22 lakh people in 473 villages to benefit.

b) Four projects worth ₹551.78 crore for safe drinking water supply to mining areas of Jajpur, Keonjhar & Sundargarh districts. 2.3 lakh people across nine blocks to benefit

c) Amendment of long-term linkage policy for Bauxite, exploration of more blocks, expeditious clearances

d) Appointment of Brigadier (Retd.) Laxmi Charan Patnaik as Chairman Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC); Shri Jagannath Mohanty as Member

Chief Minister Shri Patnaik reiterated commitment towards all-round development and welfare of the people of the state.
