Jaga one of the separated conjoined twins wore a specially prepared protective helmet

New Delhi:23/2/18; Jaga one of the separated conjoined twins from Odisha today wore a specially prepared protective helmet by the doctors at AIIMS-New Delhi.

Doctors wore him the helmet to protect his skull which is in the developing stage after separation surgery.

A team from SCB Hospital in Cuttack comprising of five doctors will be visiting AIIMS tomorrow to review health condition of separated conjoined twins Jaga and Kalia, revealed sources.

The separated conjoined twins are likely to be shifted to AIIMS-Bhubaneswar towards first week of March.

Notably, the twins hailing from Milipada village of Kandhamal district who had been fused to their heads were admitted to the AIIMS on July 14, 2017. They underwent two phase cranial separation surgery on October 25 and 26. Later, the twins went through a reconstructive and plastic surgery of the skull.
