Comedy king of Odia cinema Jayeeram Samal going to debut in news channel program “Panchayat Pencha”

Bhubaneswar:8/2/18;It is said that the happy body, mind and soul has the power to attract happy thoughts and keep you going stress free. However, in the busy schedules, people rarely get few minutes to get them relaxed by laughing. Even science has accepted the power of laugh.

Considering the importance of laugh to make its viewers feel good while watching TV, News World Odisha is planning to introduce a news-based comedy programme “Panchayat Pencha” from this week. The show will surely make viewers happy and relaxed, said comedy king of Odia cinema industry Jayeeram Samal while addressing a press conference here at OUA Bhawan. Jayeeram is going to debut in news channel through this show.

The show will be telecast from 9th February every Friday at 9.30pm. The key attraction of this programme is veteran comic actor Jayeeram Samal, who is popularly known as “Jayee Bhai”.

“Panchayat Pencha” is a news-based comedy programme. The programme will highlight several problems faced by the villagers in a satirical manner; Jayeeram said adding that he will play the role of a sarpanch while two of his associates Pragyanranjan Khatua and Sankarsan Pradhan will act in different characters as villagers.

Pragyan and Sankar , the two villagers will present the problems before the sarpanch and Jayee will resolve them in a lighter vain invoking lot of laughter and comedy. This is an attempt to present contemporary political, social, economical and cultural issues and their solution in a democratic way.
