Odisha chapter of Canara Bank Officers Association organized its General Body Meeting

Bhubaneswar:21/1/18; The Odisha chapter of Canara Bank Officers Association (CBOA) organized its General Body Meeting today at Assembly Hall, Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology here.

More than 500 Officer Members from all over Odisha participated in the meet.

G V Manimaran All India General Secretary of CBOA presided over the meeting and enthralled the audience with his fiery speech. He called upon the members to uphold the rich tradition of Canara Bank Officers Association to work towards the betterment of mother Bank and fight against evil design of merger & acquisition by Govt of India and maintain the true character of Public Sector Bank.

The meeting started with welcome address by Hemanta Kumar Panda, Regional Secretary. Shreekanta Mohapatra, Deputy General Manager, Canara bank, Circle Office Bhubaneswar graced occasion as Chief Guest and highlighted the contribution of Canara Bank Officers Association towards the development of the Bank throughout India and more particularly in Odisha. P K Mohanty, OGS presented the Annual report before the house and discussed about various organizational activities conducted in Odisha.

S N Tripathy, AGS informed the members regarding recent developments in Banking Sector, future plan of action to grow further and urged upon the members to see that Canara Bank finds an indelible presence in the Banking arena.

The meeting ended with Vote of Thanks by Soumya Mohapatra.

Among others R K Behera, Central Committee Member, Hemanta Kumar Patra, Regional Secretary, Berhampur Region, Sadhai Tudu, Regional Secretary Bhadrak Region and Beronica Toppo, Regional Secretary, Sambalpur Region were present on the occasion.
