This  coveted literary award instituted in the name legendary prodigy fiction writer, Fakir Mohan Senapati and is conferred to an accomplished fiction writer of outstanding credence, by Fakir Mohan Sahitya Sansad.


Nibedita, who has the distinction of writing in Odia and Hindi has in the past decade made significant advancements both as a Playwright and also interns of staging her Plays in Hindi at different parts of northern and western India, winning accolades and appreciations. Worthy of mention here is the Play ‘PUKAR’, originally written in Hindi.. the helpless cry … uproar… the clamour of a rape victim for justice !! This play has been staged in Indore recently and stirred the spectators intellect with emotional impact living spell bound silence in the auditorium through out the play and in residual intensity.

Nibedita, holds appreciable credence in story writing too, besides other important areas of theatre art like, direction, production and acting in lead female characters in all her Plays.

She is the receipient of Odisha Sahitya Academy, Playwright Award for the year 2011 for her Play compilation ‘CHAITU’ & ‘HATA’.
An officer in Public Sector Union Bank, a Rourkela resident, Nibedita is a goal focused, ambition driven and passionate young literatteur who is a complete package and is a precious resource for the Bank and in the aerena of literature.

He had made solid contribution on cinema in many odia Dailies and weekly such as Samaj, Prajatantra, Dharatri, Samaya, Satabadi, and weekly Samaya.
