Bhubaneswar:23/12/17;Putting an end to speculation, Odisha Chief Minister and BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik today said that the party has no plans of reshuffle in the immediate future.
“There is no plan for a reshuffle yet,” the Chief Minister clarified while speaking to the media on Saturday. Speculation about a possible reshuffle was rife after the CM dismissed senior leader and Agriculture Minister Damodar Rout from his Council of Ministers following the latter’s ‘beggar’ remarks on Brahmins at a function in Malkangiri district on December 19.
In yet another blow to sacked minister Damodar Rout, Chief Minister and BJD president Naveen Patnaik today removed him from the post of party vice-president as well as the observer of Dhenkanal district.
