28th State Film Awards were held : Pranab Pattnaik receiving the prestigious ‘Jayadev Puraskar’

Bhubaneswar:20/12/17; The 28th State Film Awards were held here on Tuesday with veteran singer Pranab Pattnaik receiving the prestigious ‘Jayadev Puraskar’ for his life time contribution to Odia film industry.

The makers of Odia movie ‘Chini’ received the Mohan Sundar Dev Goswami Samman in the best film category  Best actor awardee .Samaresh Routray was absent for the death of  his mother, Sangeeta Mohapatra (Lipi) received the award as best actress,Ajay Rath also received the best director award for film Namarda.

Tarang Cine Productions’ ‘Tu Kahibu Na Mu’ also won awards in three categories.

Earlier, the State Culture Department had announced the awards under 27 categories. Here are the  details winners list:

Best script-Dilip Choudhary(Film:namarad)

Best Supporting Actor : Minaketan(Mimansha)

Best Supporting Actress :Mahaswetaa(Chini)

Best Comic Actor: Chitaranjan tripathy(Luv U  Jessica)

Best Child Artiste :omkar (Tithirupa   Bahidar:Film :chini)

Best Sound Recordist: Subas sahoo (Mimansha)
