Consul General of Italy Mr Damiano Francovigh called on Naveen Patnaik

Bhubaneswar:29/11/17; The Aluminium Association of India (AAI) and leading aluminium association ASSOMET and AMAFOND of Italy will sign a MoU for investing in a joint venture in the upcoming aluminium park at Angul in Odisha, an official statement said

The aluminium park is being developed by the National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) and the Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (IDCO). Consul General of Italy Mr Damiano Francovigh called on Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik, During discussion, Shri Patnaik outlined the vibrant business ecosystem with industry-friendly policies of the state and invited Italian industry to visit Odisha and explore the immense opportunities.



He proposed a Special Industrial Park for Italian companies to set up industries across focus sectors of Automobiles, textiles and Chemicals. He also proposed a round table meeting with CEOs of Italian companies for participation in#MakeInOdisha Conclave 2018. He offered all support and facilitation services for ease of doing business to Italian investors in Odisha
