Army Chief General Bipin Rawat visited the Sri Mandir

Puri:25/11/17: Army Chief General Bipin Rawat today visited the Sri Mandir in Odisha’s Puri along with his family and sought blessings of Lord Jagannath for jawans.

“I came for inspection of Army Air Defence College in Gopalpur and thought of coming here for darshan of Lord Jagannath. I sought blessings for myself, my family and the Army. May our jawans and their families have a happy and peaceful life along with good health,” Rawat said.

“There is peace and serenity inside the temple which gives a feeling of being in a different world,” the Army Chief said.

Earlier in the day, Rawat arrived in the pilgrim town by a special helicopter of the Army which landed near Baliapanda here.
