Bhubaneswar:23/11/17:Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik congratulated Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) Vice Chancellor Dr S Pasupalak, students and faculty on excellent performance in National Eligibility Test (NET) 2017 and elevation to rank nine among 75 agricultural Universities in the country. He expressed happiness that OUAT is now recognised among top ten agricultural Universities in India.

He advised University authorities to strive hard to provide cutting-edge education, research & extension of technology from lab to farmer’s field. There should be continuous engagement with farmers to know their needs & develop solutions for them that will lead to greater food production, food security of the people and prosperity of the farmers.
