Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik launched Sudakhya program

Bhubaneswar:11/11/17:Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik launched Sudakhya program – an initiative to empower women through technical training. Details of the program:

  • Duration of the program is academics years 2017-18 and 2018-19
    • Focus on training of 5000 girls in 48 Government ITIs in 2017-18
    • Aim to increase enrolment of girls in ITIs from 7% to 30%

Sudakhya will enhance employability of the girls as well as encourage entrepreneurship among them. The increased participation of women will strengthen the brand #SkilledInOdisha. The mission continues to be a thrust area for the state Government towards empowering youth of Odisha.
