Paradip refinery paid glowing tributes to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel

Paradip:31/10/17; Indian Oil Corporation-run Paradip refinery today paid glowing tributes to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, popularly referred to as ‘Iron Man’ on the occasion of his birth anniversary here today.

The day was also observed as ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’ (national unity).

The refinery officials paid floral tributes at the leader’s portrait here and took salute at the march past.

On this occasion the Integrity pledge was administered  by N.R.Patnaik, CGM I/c (PJ) in Hindi and Shri A. K. Das, CGM(PJ) in English. A “Run For Unity” was also organized, where in IOCL employees along with their family members, members from CISF joined in this occasion, displaying Banner and placards to preserve unity, integrity and security of the nation. DPS Paradip Refinery also organize “Run for Unity” on this occasion.

He also flagged off ‘Run for Unity’ organised by the Directorate of Education here as part of the celebration of the birth anniversary of the veteran freedom fighter.
