Odisha Government effected a major reshuffle in the senior IPS cadre

Bhubaneswar31/10/17;:  The Odisha Government today effected a major reshuffle in the senior IPS cadre by changing the portfolio of at least 19 officers, according to a notification issued by the Home Department..

1986 batch IPS Bijaya Kumar Sharma has been appointed as DG Fire Services and Home Guards.

 

The post today fell vacant as 1982 batch IPS Binoy Kumar Behera superannuated from services.

 

1988 batch IPS Satyajit Mohanty, who was serving as ADG Headquarters for last few years has been posted as ADG Provisioning.

 

1988 batch IPS Santosh Kumar Upadhyay is new ADG

1988 batch IPS Binaynand Jha, who was serving as ADG Law and Order is posted as ADG Prisons.

 

1988 batch IPS Arun Kumar Ray has been posted as ADG Communications.

 

1989 batch IPS Pranabindu Achrya is new ADG Railways and Coastal Security.

 

1990 batch IPS Sudhanshu Sarangi is new ADG State Crime Records Bureau (SCRB).

 

1991 batch IPS Debasis Panigrahi is new ADG State Vigilance.

 

1992 batch IPS Lalit Das is new Chairman & Managing Director Odisha State Police Housing and Welfare Corporation (OSPHWC).

 

1992 batch IPS Lalit Das is new Chairman & Managing Director Odisha State Police Housing and Welfare Corporation (OSPHWC).

 

1995 batch IPS Santosh Bala is new Special Secretary Department of Home.

 

1996 batch IPS Arun Bothra is new IGP Modernization, while 1997 batch IPS Asheet Kumar Panigrahi is new IGP State Police Headquarters.

 

1998 batch IPS Amitabh Thakur is new IGP Law and Order, while 1998 batch IPS Rajesh Kumar is new IG Home Guards.

 

2003 batch IPS Nikhil Kanodia is new DIG Crime Branch, while 2003 batch IPS Sanjay Kumar Kaushal is new DIG State Vigilance.

 

2010 batch IPS Sarah Sharma is new SP Biju Patnaik State Police Academy.

 

OPS Officer Bana Bihari Sahoo is new SP Railways, while Bramhananda Dandpat is new SP Police Motor Transport.
