Bhubaneswar: from (Ashok Palit)31/10/17:For 28^th Odisha state Film Awards only fifteen main stream film has been   entered     in competition. the film includes in competition were: Agastya, Chini,Love U Jessica, Dele Dhara Katha Sare,Bye Bye Dubai,Tiger, Mimansa, Samaya Bada Balaban,Mitha Mitha,Love Station, , Tu Kahibu na Mu, Love Pain kuch bhi karega, Jhia ta Bigidi Gala,Man Mora Jajabar  and  Namarad besides this feature film Documentary Film Bintang Jasa,Children educational film Sabas Biju ,Educational Documentary Nila Saila (duration05:00 minutes) Among the feature    film  Love U Jessica and Namard  were not released  in theater.

Out of 15 feature film Namard , Mimansa, Chini and Love U Jessica deals with original story rest of the film were remake from Telgu,Tamil, Kannad or Bengali.Here we given the details about the feature film: Agastya Remake of Kannad film Ugramm  is being produced by Akshaya Parija   and directed by K.M Krishna, Prem Anand has composed the music,this film stars Anubhav , Jhilik , Akash Das nayak , Mihir Das , Manoj Mishra , Minaketan , Priyanka , Chini Produced by – Bhabani Majhi & Snehalata Parida based opn story penned byPradip, Amlan Das , Patrali , Mihir Das , Maheswata Ray , Pruthiraj ,Ashrumochan , Braja , Banku , Smita , Pravati, Child Artist : Tithi , Swaham , Debesh & Rupa has comprised the main cast. Odia television actress Pralipta Priyadarsini alias Jessy, who was in limelight following the mysterious death of another television actor Ranjit Patnaik alias Raja, is the story of ‘Luv U Jessica’ directed by Susant Mani and produced under the banner of Akshaya Parija Production. This film revolves around murder mystery with touch of a love story. Dele Dhara katha Sare  directed by Sailendra Mishra has Jyoti, Malobika, Maheswata,Ajit Das,Minaketan  in lead roles. Bye Bye Dubai  is an another film from the production house of Akshaya Parija  starring Sabyasachi , Archita , Papu Pom Pom , Budhaditya in main role and directed by Basant Sahoo,  Tiger  directed by S.Dileep Panda featuring Amlan, Dipika, Bijaya Mohanty, Minaketan, Jiban Panda, Salil Mitra, Babu & Saroj, Mimansa  an adaptation of     Dr.Pradip Dash short story being directed by  Chakradhar Sahoo   featuring Har Rath , Lipi , SilalipiParida,Minaketan and monoj Pattnaik. .Samaya Bada Balaban directed by Murlidhar has Pupinder Singh,Anshuman, Anubha Sourya &,Lipsa Mishra in the cast‘Mitha Mitha’ have star casts like Sambhab, Jyoti, Rajesh, Prakruti, Ankita, and Shradha. The movie is based on a love story. Shrikant Goutam has directed the movie. As per the ORISSA   ST ATE  AWARDS  FOR  FILMS   RULES:  . 2010 only  those  films  that  have  a minimum   running  time of 70 minutes  and are certified  by the said Board  as feature  films: In case  of  award   for  Best  Children  Films,  only  such  films  shall  be  eligible  as have been certified  by the said Board  as ” Children’s   Films.” For  the  non-feature    films,   only  these  that  are  certified   by  the  said  Board  as Documentary   news  reels,  or non-feature  films. The acceptable   gauge  of the film is 35 mm or 16 mm The  Chairman   of the Jury  may seek  advice  of the experts  in specialized areas  whenever   necessary.For that reason Bintang Jasa,Children educational film Sabas Biju ,Educational Documentary Nila Saila (duration05:00 minutes) may be deprived from consideration.
