Malkangiri police arrested four Maoists

Malkangiri:15/10/17; Malkangiri police arrested four Maoists today during a combing operation in the forest areas near Elkanur village under Kalimela block and Gajalkonda village under Khairaput block.

The arrested Naxals were involved in the murder of a person in Kurub village under Kalimela block suspecting him to be a police informer on October 6.

“Four Maoists have been arrested were involved in the murder of one Dambru Nayak in Kurub village on October 6.  They will be forwarded to court today,” informed Malkangiri SP Jagmohan Meena.

As many have started rejecting their ideology, they are trying to recreate terror among people by such, he added.
