Dr APJ Abdul Kalam unveiled at Chandra Sekhar Behera (CSB) Zilla School Chowk

Sambalpur:15/10/17; On the birth anniversary of former President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, popularly known as ‘Missile Man of India’, a life-size statue was unveiled at Chandra Sekhar Behera (CSB) Zilla School Chowk in Sambalpur by the district administration here today.

The statue was erected as a sign of respect and love for Dr Kalam who had visited Sambalpur to attend the 150th foundation day of CSB Zilla School on November 29, 2014.

Sambalpur MLA Raseswari Panigrahi, former Chief Secretary of Odisha Jugal Kishore Mohapatra, Collector Samarth Verma, SP Akhileswar Singh and other dignitaries attended the event and garlanded the statue.
