Late Congress firebrand congress leader Lulu’s Brother & Daughter Joins BJP

Bhubaneswar:14/10/17: In a major setback to beleaguered Congress party, the daughter and brother of the firebrand congress leader late Lalatendu Bidyadhar (Lulu) Mohapatra today jumped over to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in a ‘Mishran Parva’ organized by the saffron party at the exhibition ground here.

Late leader’s brother Lalitendu Mohapatra and daughter Upasana Mohapatra today officially quit congress to join BJP in a special function here attended among others by galaxy of BJP leaders.

Former Youth Congress president Satyajeet Patnaik and lawyer Pitambar Acharya besides a large number of Congress leaders and workers of Brahmagiri constituency and members of Lulu Sena, a youth brigade named after the late leader, also joined the BJP.
