Three government engineers and the executing agency have been held responsible for the collapse of RCC slab of the bridge

Baragarhr:9/10/17; Three government engineers and the executing agency have been held responsible for the collapse of RCC slab of the bridge constructed under the Biju Setu Yojana (BSY) over river Jeera on Jamdol-Dhubenpali road in Bargarh district.

Executive engineer Amulya Mohapatra, junior engineer Manoranjan Mohapatra and assistant engineer Kamalakant have been indicted for negligence in the report while a notice to blacklist the contractor of the concerned executing agency has also been issued.

The committee submitted its preliminary report in connection with the mishap to the Odisha government recently.
