New Delhi, Oct 6 /10/17; Prime Minister Narendra Modi today welcomed and conveyed best wishes to all teams taking part in the FIFA U-17 World Cup.
Twenty-three teams besides host India are taking part in the 17th FIFA U-17 World Cup, a biennial international football tournament kicking off today.
The tournament which culminates on October 28 has India as the host automatically qualifying for the event.
‘A warm welcome and best wishes to all teams taking part in the FIFA U-17 World Cup.
I am sure FIFA U-17 World Cup will be a treat for football lovers,’ the Prime Minister said.
