Bhubaneswar:5/10/17: Lambasting the Odisha government, Union Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javadekar today alleged Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is rebranding Central schemes and telling everyone that the development projects are being launched by the State government.
Javadekar, who is on a two-day visit to the State, told media persons upon his arrival, “The Naveen government is inefficient and there is no doubt about it. Though the State has great potential no developmental activities have been carried out. Therefore, people of the State are unhappy and asking the BJD government for answers.”
The Union Minister stated that the state government is taking credit for scheme from the Centre and said the scheme of Re 1 per one kg rice is an example. “This is actually a Central scheme in which the Centre contributes Rs 27 whereas the State gives only Rs 2. In such scenario, why the State government is making tall claims?”
During his two-day tour, Javadekar will visit four Lok Sabha constituencies in Puri and undertake a review of the party organisation.
