Bhubaneswar:4/10/17:Another laudable and creative initiative of State ‘s Culture Department , armed with enthusiastic, sensible, art loving, cultured team of officials lead by Director,Amarendra Patnaik, Secretary Manoranjan Panigrahy and minister Ashok Panda, at the helm; ‘GEETI CHHAYA ‘, the event aptly titled, that encapsulated the display of rare and precious photographs, capturing interactive informal sittings of musicians, recording technicians and engineers along with singers , decades back from view of the exhibition of photographs taken during music recording and music sitting of Odia film 1950- 86.. The opening view takes place on the ground floor of the state Museum, Bhubaneswar on Wednesday 4th October 2017, starting at 11.30 am
The exhibition will run until 19th oct 2017
The concept taking the shape of an event of fort night long exhibition of these photographs with music from original soundtrack, which was inaugurated by Minister Ashok Panda today late forenoon and offered for public viewing amidst living legends of Odia film music industry, lyricists and singers, viz: Trupti Das, Pranab Patnaik, Laxmikanta Palit, Devdas Chhotray and others in an informal courteous gesture.
Intact, the creative initiative is a collaborative work of utmost sincerity in collecting the pictures , mounting the same discently and artfully with appropriate captions by Surya Deo of FJF( Film Journalists Forum)
An exhibition that merits viewing by all those who love performing Arts … Olywood song and music in their original flavour and the unseen pleasantries reinforcing the creativity of the artists…
