Naveen Patnaik and SC Jamir paid floral tributes to the statue of Mahatma Gandhi

Bhubaneswar2/10/17:: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Governor SC Jamir paid floral tributes to the statue of Mahatma Gandhi on the premises of the state Assembly on Gandhi Jayanti here today. Assembly speaker Pradeep Amat and other leaders also paid floral tributes to the iconic leader’s statue. The CM said, “On this day, all of us should remember the tremendous sacrifices the Mahatma made for the nation.”

Besides, Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) chief Prasad Harichandan garlanded Gandhi’s statue at the Gandhi Park here. The day was also observed by various social organsitaions.
